Invitation

Dear Doctors,

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to attend 7th Interdisciplinary Seminar “Sleep apnea & snoring in pediatric population” that shall take place on 1 December 2018 in Warsaw.

For the last six years during RhinoForum, a rhinology conference that we organize, we learned from the best experts about obstructive sleep apnea occurring in adults - this condition is a social problems which according to recent estimations affects 15-20% of the population.  Our teachers were top Polish and foreign experts who study this problem. However, during previous editions of the seminar we somewhat overlooked the fact that this problem affects 3-5% of children and seems to be on the rise. That is why this year’s edition of the “Sleep apnea & snoring for ENT specialists” is dedicated to exploring this condition only in children and youngsters. This calls for special methods because in this age group both diagnostics and therapy need to be interdisciplinary. That is why among invited lecturers there are, apart from laryngologists, paediatricians, paediatric neurologist, orthodontist, and speech therapists – excellent experts from Poland, Italy, Germany, and the United States.

Since this problem is interdisciplinary, I encourage everyone - not only laryngologists - but also paediatricians, paediatric pulmonologists, orthodontists, speech therapists and everyone interested in this condition to attend the seminar.

I hope to see you in Warsaw this December!

Professor Antoni Krzeski
